WHAT’S HAPPENING: MARNI FOR H&M THIS MARCH. YES, REALLY!

Italian fashion house, Marni, is looking to “speak to a wider audience and in particular, the younger generations,” according to the founder, designer and tastemaker Consuelo Castiglioni and on March 8, 2012 they will. This spring, Marni is launching a line for H&M, bringing a taste of Italian sass and pride to the fast fashion retailer. Season after season, Marni insists that fashion be a force to have fun with, traipsing the runways and magazine spreads with geometric prints, pops of color and seemingly one-of-a-kind accessories.

The Marni for H&M collection will include male and female goods as well as accessories that we hope, appeal to the “popular among cool fashion girls who like clothes that pop and have that touch of quirk”—the Marni girl, described by Catiglioni. 

Waiting until March will be tough, we know it. However in the meantime, educate yourselves on everything Marni so you’re a shopper to be reckoned with come 3/8/12. Elbows are bound to be thrown, we are certain!
