And here is the best part…GO TRY IT ON is the Pop Up Dressing Room! No more running around barely clothed like most sample sales. We’ve got you covered—literally!

The Do-It-All Accessory
The Wall Street Journal recently featured a picture of Jackie Kennedy sporting a headscarf in 1972 and we must say, the former first lady looked pretty darn cool! The article refers to the scarf as the go-to garment for concealing the frizz that has taken over your hair. And while wearing this light weight accessory atop your head is one way to do it, Refinery 29 lists 8 other options WITH a tutorial on how to tie each! Check it out here!

Crush It In Cobalt
With Independence Day just weeks away, it is only fitting that one of the holiday’s staple colors get major street cred. The ladies of GO TRY IT ON as well as a few token style stunners (Blake Lively and Minka Kelly) have turned to cobalt blue as a go-to hue for dressier functions. Pair the color with nude pumps (we don’t love this shade with black) or travel the rainbow route by wearing another loud shade on your feet, like Gossip Girl’s leading lady did with purple suede pumps!

Cinching the Old
One of our favorite fashion secrets is cross dressing (not that kind!) Cross dressing is creating an outfit from opposite ends of the style (and budget) spectrum: shoes from Zappos, bag from Prada and a vintage dress. However, although vintage shopping can be exhilarating, it does have a downfall: sizing. Vintage finds can often be boxy but we hate to see you put the piece back on the rack, you just need to find a belt! Cinch away and find yourself wrapped in vintage and tied with a belt!

Why: Because boxy doesn’t always mean “Change It”
Vinage Shops: Screaming Mimis, Amacord, What Goes Around Comes Around, INA, Etsy

Pleated Skirts
The foul mouth ladies of our favorite baseball team, A League of Their Own, gave the pleated skirt some major street cred. The trend was first paired with cleats and sass but as time progressed (Mary Katherine Gallagher helped bring the uniform from the field to the school), the pleats grew closer together to become today’s hottest trend! One of our favorite fashion blogs, Who What Wear Daily, featured a spread of fashion’s finest exercising this look. Depending on your body type, the accordion pleated skirt can either fall above the knee or at your calf but whichever length you choose, pay close attention to the blouse that compliments it!

Orange and White, The Swirl
Nothing says summertime more than a perfect ice cream cone — but plain vanilla just doesn’t cut it. We’d like to nod our heads to the forever-summer treat — the creamsicle! This year, the combination of orange and white is hotter than ever. It can be tough to find the right color to pair this bold bright orange with, which is why we strongly suggest the lovely, always fresh, white. This summer, head into your favorite retailer for a pop of orange and mix with a white tank, skirt or blouse and you’ll never feel cooler!

The Art of Ruffles
Poor old ruffles have been tagged as the universal look for little girls alike. And while this trend remains kid friendly, it serves as a key layering tool for women like us! Whether you tuck in your ruffled blouse to high waisted shorts, wear it loose over a skirt or take the trend full body with a ruffled dress, you can camouflage any area. So when in doubt, play ruff to look adorable, feel covered and wear it with confidence.

WHITE JEANS
These GO ladies make white jeans look so easy and super chic. Although sometimes white pants can be a little risky, they are a great alternative for the spring time. Try pairing them with a slightly oversized top and brown or neutral accessories. Check out these celebrities who also make this trend work and the GO ladies below.

STRIPES AND SHORT SHORTS
We’ve spotted and early trend for summer floating through the GO community - cool striped shirts with tiny jeans shorts. It’s a pretty basic idea, but it consistantly looks chic. Better arm your closet with these basics cause it seems like it may be the go to look for the season…

It’s a retro trend, but we are now obsessed with palazzo pants after seeing how Pierina N. rocks them so well! Not surprisingly, cool stores are on the extra wide leg pant bandwagon and offer cool options (including floral prints!) for this budding fad. Think you’ll give it a try?
